In my household. it has always been a common practice to use a set of sheets. along with blankets and a comforter. One of the reasons that we do this is that the sheets are the only thing to come into contact with our bodies and so they are the only part of the bedding that becomes soiled and the sheets can be taken off on a regular basis and washed. Most commonly people do this on a weekly basis. but there are some who do this on a daily basis and others that stretch the timeline out even further than a week.
Even with a good duvet cover it would be wise to regularly wash your duvet. however it should not be necessary to go to such extreme measures to remove dust mites from the duvet if you have an effective duvet cover. One advantage to the duvet cover is if they are allergen proof you should be able to just change out the duvet cover for washing on a frequent basis and then on a less frequent schedule clean your duvet. Another advantage to this routine is that you will be able to change out the look and feel of your bedroom on a regular basis as well if you have duvet covers with various designs.
Natural duvets add style and class to your bedroom. All the duvets are designed to drape and snuggle your body. thus keeping you warm and cosy during your sleep. Plus. natural fillings allow your body to breath and create the perfect temperature to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. However. the best aspect of all duvets is that they reduce the need of continuously making up your bed every morning as they are single covers which replace the need for a combination of bed sheets. blankets. quilts or other bed coverings. This is widely available. and there are even accessories which come with it such as a quilt cover which saves the original duvet from getting dirty.
When caring for a natural duvet. it`s suggested that you get the duvet dry cleaned. Although there are duvets that recommend being washed in washing machines. it`s best to dry clean the duvet if it`s made of natural fibres. Natural fibres include cotton. goose down or goose fluff. fur. and duck feathers. The filling in a duvet can become hard and rough if it`s not correctly cleaned.
